Our paid repair and hardware request services will be temporarily paused from September 17 through November 2 while our team completes existing repairs and works on improvements to bring you a better repair experience. The last day to submit a paid repair or hardware request is Wednesday, September 16. Requests received after that date will be held until we reopen on November 3. Warranty work is handled in our Maine factory by the same skilled team that builds our products, so your gear comes back meeting the same exacting standards it left with.

Defects in Materials & Workmanship
We stand behind our products. If your gear has an issue caused by a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace it free of charge. Hyperlite Mountain Gear has the sole discretion to determine whether an item should be replaced or repaired due to a manufacturer’s defect.

Wear, Tear, and Trail Mishaps
We normally repair most damage that occurs from normal (or abnormal) use, including punctures, tears, busted zippers, worn-out components, and damaged hardware. Our paid repair and hardware request services are temporarily paused from September 17 through November 2 while our team completes existing repairs and works on improvements to bring you a better repair experience. We will reopen requests for repairs on November 3.
Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover:
Normal wear and tear from use · Damage from accidents, abrasion, punctures, or misuse · Cosmetic issues (stains, discoloration, fading) · Damage caused by improper storage or care · Items modified or altered by the user · Gear purchased second-hand · Non-Hyperlite Mountain Gear products

Requests submitted on or before Wednesday, September 16 are in our queue and will be completed as normal. Requests received after that date will be held and picked up in the order received when we reopen on November 3. If you have a question about an existing request, reply to your confirmation email and our Customer Service team will help.
Hardware requests are paused along with paid repairs until November 3. If a hardware failure is due to a defect in materials or workmanship, submit a warranty claim above and we’ll take care of it.
We’ll review your claim and respond by email within 1 week. If your gear needs to come to our Maine factory, typical turnaround is 3–4 weeks from the date we receive it, not including shipping time. This can vary during peak seasons, and we’ll give you a more precise estimate when we confirm your claim. Heading out on a trip? Let us know your timing and we’ll do our best to accommodate it.
Yes. For the health and safety of our staff, we require all items to be sent in clean. Please brush off all dirt and debris and wipe down your gear. Items that arrive dirty will be returned to you immediately.
You are responsible for shipping costs to our facility. We will cover the return shipping cost for all completed warranty work.
